On the remote island in the South Atlantic, St. Helena, the young gardener boy Matiew meets the former French Emperor and now convict Napoleon. Matiew becomes his apprentice and receives the highest quality of education from him. Finally、Matiew leaves the island to set out on his own journey, overcoming a variety of troubles before arriving in London and meeting someone who knows his past, the Lady in Black. After creating the ideal garden for the Lady, Matiew is finally about to have the truth of his past revealed to him.
