Zachary's Wonderful Hair Tale

This delightful children's book is chocked full of fun and interesting illustrations to keep your child's attention as the story is being read. Zachary is a sweet little boy who enjoys dressing up like his favorite superhero, Zorro. Zorro is big and brave and smart--just like Zachary wants to be. As he thinks about Zorro and other superheroes, he realizes they all have long hair. And because Zachary has a friend who is very sick, he wants to give him something special. So, he decides to grow his hair long and maybe he will be smart enough to decide on a special gift. So, Zachary allows his hair to grow long and longer and even longer. Finally, his hair is so long, he has to live on a desert island alone because his hair is miles and miles long. He becomes sad and decides to pray. After he prays for help, a barber appears on the island and cuts Zachary's hair into different sections, so he can give them to a manufacturer who makes wigs for people who are losing their hair because of medication. Afterward, Zachary goes to visit his sick friend. He tells him the story of Zachary's Wonderful Hair Tale, and they laugh and laugh. Finally, Zachary realizes he has superpowers of his own, and his mom takes him to get a haircut.
